Noise, Noise, and more Noise

Lukas is beginning to change from our little baby boy to our little boy. He is no longer the quiet, non-mobile little baby boy we used to snuggle. He is now much NOSIER and somewhatmobile! He makes tons and tons of noises...apparently all my renditions of Old McDonald finally paid off! He scoots around and is going to crawl any day now, or at least that what we think! The funniest thing of all is his faces he makes. He makes silly faces to make us laugh. That is ALL boy, not baby and we LOVE it!

On Tuesday when I picked him up from "school" (it sounds so much nicer than daycare), his eyes lit up with delight when he saw me. After I kissed him hello I walked away to pack up and he began bawling. That just touched my heart. My little boy wanted me and missed me. Yes I know, that will get old. 

Today I had my yearly exam at the doctor. I went to the bathroom and washed my hands...duh and then was brought back to my stay in the hospital. The smell of the soap immediately reminded me of the first day we met Lukas. Who knew soap could have such a wonderful, memory filled smell. I seriously want to call the hospital and purchase it!

Swing-Set

We put our house on the market today becuase we need room for a swing-set:) Actually, we just need more room but I am justifying it by saying we need a swing-set for our little Lukas boy. We will see how it all goes but I am hoping for the best! We got Lukas' 6 month pictures from Carrianne today, and we love them! Those eyes! 

6 month

Wednesday Lukas turned 6 MONTHS OLD! It is absolutely amazing how much a child develops in only six months time. He now sits, is attempting to crawl, rolls over both ways and babbles like no other! He is a full on little boy! He is full of life and energy and I love having him as part of our life! When he sucks his thumb and his bright blue puppy dog eyes peer into me I melt. 

9 years ago today, Matt and I met. We met at a mutual friends house and watched the Super Bowl. Who would have ever thought 9 years later we would be in love with our little 6 month old Lukas...NOT ME! Well here we are celebrating the birth of our beautiful boy.
