Me and Mommy and Daddy finally got home yesterday at 6:30p.m. My Mommy had to get angry at people so they would let us go... 
I like my house and my room and my dog. I like my bassinet, too. I slept next to Mommy's side of the bed, but Daddy fed me in the middle of the night. Daddy went to work this morning, so Grammi came over and is taking care of me and Mommy and Daisy. My umbilical cord fell off today, so my tummy looks much better.
My Daddy has so many pictures he took. I am very photogenic!

7/30/2008-My 3rd Day

I'm still in the hospital with Mommy and Daddy. People keep coming to look at me and hold me. I like all of the love I feel. My Grandma and Grandpa came to see me for a long time today. It's my Grandpa's birthday today. And it's my cousin, Nicholas' birthday, too. My Nonie came to see me with Grammi and Poppi. And Aunt Sue and Amy. And Aunt Chellie and Uncle Jeff. I'm so lucky to have so many people who love me! 

I found out what a circumcision is...I don't recommend it, but Mommy and Daddy said I should have one, and they know best. The doctor said I was brave:)
I don't know when we get to go to my house. The doctors have to make sure my Mommy is feeling okay, so either tomorrow or Friday. My Mommy and Daddy sent a blanket that I used, home with Grammi and Poppi so Daisy could smell me. I can't wait to go home...

July 29, 2008-My 2nd Day

Today me and Mommy and Daddy were moved to a new room. Room 169. I think that means my Mommy is doing better, cuz she's up out of her bed now, and is laughing and talking and holding me more. My Daddy rocked and held me all morning long. I guess I don't like the formula the hospital gave my Daddy cuz it made my tummy hurt. But I have a new formula now and I feel much better. I passed my hearing screening today. I heard something about a circumcision tomorrow, but I'm not sure what it is... More people came today visit me today and said how cute or beautiful I am. I don't know, this is all new to me. If anyone else wants to come visit me, that's okay. My Mommy and Daddy are a little lonely cuz they just want to bring me home and show me my room and my dog, Daisy.

July 28, 2008-I'm Here

I can't believe I'm finally here! My Mommy and Daddy are so awesome. I feel sad that Mommy had such a hard time and was so sick after I was born, but Daddy took good care of me. There are so many people who came to visit me today, but I was sleepy, so I can't remember their names, but I do remember how nice they felt and smelled. I can't wait to get to know everyone in my family! For now I'm just happy being held and feeling the love of my Mommy and Daddy...

July 25, 2008 Journal from Babysite

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to give an update. Matt and I just got home from the hospital after being there for about 24 hours. I went for a doctor's appointment yesterday and my blood pressure was 180/100...NOT GOOD! So they admitted me and ran test after test! Finally at 1:00 today they released us but rescheduled the Csection to earlier. There is a law in Illinois that they cannot do a Csection prior to 39 weeks (tomorrow) without sufficient evidence. So Lukas will join us on Monday at 9:30. If you want to visit, we want you there:) We will at Alexian Brother's for four days.
